Poetry often touches the heart in a way that philosophy and essays don't. Let me add a poem of my own which presents the universal problem at the heart of every conflict.
MORAL HIGH GROUND
There is no moral high ground, I've learned.
My moral mountain is your worm.
What I do for conscience's sake
You abhor as slug or snake.
So when we maim, defame each other,
We've got our righteous reasons, brother.
This blog will reach for the stars and always try to be part of the solution and not the problem.
